Himalayan Rhubarb 50g
A traditional dye from the Himalayan mountains between India and Bhutan. It grows in high altitudes and yields a deep golden yellow with an alum mordant. Shifting the pH with soda ash or cream of tartar creates more yellow or almost brick red colours, and combined with Aquarelle liquid Saxon Blue it gives bright olive greens.
50g Himalayan Rhubarb will dye approximately 500g fibre.
